Login, password and two-step verification

Log in with Google or a password, reset a forgotten password, and protect your account with a 6-digit code.

Logging in with Google

Click Continue with Google on the login or signup page and pick your Google account. If you already have a PilotPost account with the same email, Google sign-in logs you into it.

Forgot your password?

  1. On the login page, click Forgot password?
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Open the email from noreply@pilotpost.social and click the link. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a minute.
  4. Choose a new password.

If you signed up with Google, you can use the same steps to add a password to your account.

Two-step verification

With two-step verification turned on, logging in needs your password and a 6-digit code from your phone. Someone who learns your password still can't get in.

To turn it on:

  1. Install an authenticator app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password.
  2. In PilotPost, go to Security in the left-hand menu and click Turn on two-step verification.
  3. Scan the QR code with the app.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code the app shows to confirm.

From now on, after your password (or Google sign-in), PilotPost asks for the current code from the app.

To turn it off: go to Security, click Turn off two-step verification… and enter a current code.

Lost your phone? Email us from your account's email address and we'll help you get back in after checking it's you.

Keeping your account safe

  • Use a password you don't use anywhere else.
  • If several people share one login, turn on two-step verification.
  • Never share your social network passwords. PilotPost never needs them.

Still stuck? Email support@pilotpost.social and tell us what you were trying to do. A screenshot helps.
