The For You page, or FYP, is TikTok's main personalized feed, showing each user a stream of recommended videos based on their interests and activity.

The For You page is the main reason TikTok can help new accounts grow quickly. Videos are not limited to people who already follow you, so a single strong video from a small business can reach a large number of viewers who have never heard of it before.

TikTok chooses videos for each person's FYP by looking at how they interact with content, such as what they watch to the end, rewatch, like, share or comment on. Video details like captions, sounds and keywords help the system understand what a video is about. Other networks have similar recommendation feeds with different names.
