Adding hashtags
Type your hashtags in the Hashtags box in the composer, not in the caption:
- Separate them with spaces or commas.
- The # is optional.
marketing, smallbusinessworks the same as#marketing #smallbusiness. - They're added on a new line at the end of your caption when the post publishes.
Saved sets
If you use the same hashtags often:
- Type them in the Hashtags box.
- Click Save as set and give the set a name.
Next time, click the set's name to add those hashtags in one click. Click × next to a set to delete it.
Hashtag limits

The composer counts your hashtags and warns you before you schedule if you're over a limit.
Tip: 3 to 5 relevant hashtags usually work better than many generic ones.
