Your Start Page (link in bio)

Set up a link-in-bio page at pilotpost.social/@yourname with your links, social icons and theme, and see its views and clicks.

Your Start Page is one short link you can put in the bio of your Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or any other profile. It leads to a page with all your important links: your shop, booking page, website, menu or latest video. It's included in every plan.

Set it up

  1. Click Start Page in the left-hand menu.
  2. Under Your address, choose the address of your page, for example yourbrand. Your page will be at pilotpost.social/@yourbrand.
  3. Under Profile, upload a photo or logo, add your name and a short bio, and choose whether the page is for a person or a business.
  4. Under Links, type the text for each button and the link it opens. Click + Add link for more (up to 30). Use ↑ and ↓ to change the order, untick Show to hide a link without deleting it, or ✕ to delete it.
  5. Under Social icons, paste the full address of each profile you want to show as an icon.
  6. Under Design, pick a theme and a button style. Choose Custom to set your own button colour.
  7. Tick Page is live and click Save.

The preview on the right (at the top on a phone) shows your page as you change it.

Share your page

Once the page is live, click Copy link and paste it into the bio or website field of each social profile. Click View page to open it.

Views and clicks

The Stats box shows how many times your page has been viewed and how many times its links were clicked. Each link also shows its own number of clicks. Visits from search engine robots and link previews aren't counted.

Search engines

Your page is set up to show correctly in Google, with your name, photo and social profiles. If you'd rather it didn't appear in search results, tick Hide from Google and other search engines and save.

Good to know

  • You can change your address at any time. Remember to update the link in your profiles afterwards, because the old address stops working.
  • If you turn off Page is live, visitors see "page not found" until you turn it on again.
  • If your subscription ends, your page goes offline but everything you set up is kept.
